Accommodation:
Holbeck Ghyll has 29 rooms, all individually furnished. There are 2 four poster bedded rooms, one of which is located in The Lodge, a newly refurbished house in the hotel grounds. The Miss Potter suite with its own hot tub overlooking Lake Windermere, is perfect for your honeymoon.

On your chosen day of arrival, please note that there will be guests staying at the hotel from the night before and our check out time is 11.00am, therefore we are unable to guarantee bedrooms until 2.00pm, however we will endeavour to ensure rooms are ready as soon as possible.

Exclusive Use:
Exclusive use is available mid-week or upon taking the full weekend (ie: Friday and Saturday). For an indication of the charges, please contact us directly.

Floral Decoration:
A pedestal arrangement and table posy are included within the ceremony room hire charge. We are happy to liaise with our local florist should you wish for additional floral displays at an extra cost. Alternatively you are more than welcome to bring your own arrangements.

Wedding Cake:
We will happily assist you with seeking a local cake maker. We have a cake knife and can hire an appropriate stand for you at a nominal charge.

Photographers:
We would recommend approximately one hour for the taking of photographs. We can of course recommend local photographers, if you do not already have one in mind.

Music:
Musicians can be booked to accompany your wedding ceremony and reception. Alternatively, a CD player can be provided for all ceremony and reception rooms; our restaurants and The Boardroom have a sound system installed.

Final Numbers:
We ask for a confirmation 14 days prior to the wedding. Any reductions will be subject to a charge.

Confetti:
Please note that confetti is not permitted at Holbeck Ghyll, however, dried rose petals may be scattered in the grounds.

Parking:
On site complimentary car parking is available.

Booking Procedure:
In order to proceed with a reservation you must contact the Superintendent Registrar at Kendal Council Offices. A wedding at Holbeck Ghyll depends on the Registrar and Superintendent Registrar being present. They can be contacted on 01539 773567.

All fees for the Marriage Ceremony and Wedding Licence are paid directly to the registrar.

Deposit:
A non-refundable deposit of £750.00 is required to secure your chosen date with further installments required before the day. Full payment is required upon departure.
